GobiMin reports year-round mill operations in 2007; Production to jump +50%

Toronto, Canada. February 13, 2007 - GobiMin Inc. ("GobiMin") is pleased to report that its second, newly-built concentration plant with capacity of 1,000 tonnes per day was completed in the fourth quarter of 2006 and is now operating in its designed capacity after the successful completion of the trial runs. GobiMin has arranged to continue producing during the winter period and therefore increase the ongoing processing capacity but allowing the refurbishing of the original 600 tonnes per day concentration plant.
The total tonnage of ore to be processed is expected to be at a minimum of approximately 330,000 tonnes in 2007 as compared to the actual ore processed of about 220,000 tonnes in 2006 and 155,000 tonnes in 2005. The two plants together will be able to handle the planned increase in the coming year, taking into account two new shafts coming on stream by October this year at the Yellow Mountain East Mine (Huangshan Dong Mine).
